Q&A: Can Personal Website Aid Search?

January 28th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Q.  I am a senior just starting to focus on getting a job when I graduate.  I have a one-page resume as you recommend, but should I also consider developing a website?  -RS

A.  In this job market, every tool possible is required to successfully land a job.  I’ve seen many excellent student websites.  It’s a good way to get your resume and accomplishments in front of prospective employers in a format that is gaining popularity.  You’re also describe your background in more than the prerequisite one-page resume.
